Detect and avoid duplicates of requests for having a prefix
in progress
Alejandra Tolentino
Two contacts can be registered with the same telephone number, and they are assigned to two different sales representatives, but when reviewing it, it is not detected as a duplicate, since one of them has the country code (e.g. +34 Spain).
It would be interesting if Witei detected that it is the same number even if it has +34
Luz Carballo
Ideally, by entering some numbers, for example the last 4 digits, it will already send you a list of contacts that have matches, so I'm sure the contacts are not duplicated, because witei wants +33 to be added if you enter 0033 it can't find the contact anymore, if it's a Spanish phone or you put +34 or it doesn't detect it either

Good morning, in the program, you can register the same contact by two different salespeople just by adding +34 or removing it, it would be good if you want to make the program use the prefix of the country we have to add it to, or for the program to do it automatically or better not to set the prefix and so there is no problem adding the telephone number. Greetings.

These two duplicate contacts should be able to be merged when Witei doesn't detect them as duplicates.

Warning when manually creating two contacts with the same phone

It would be useful if you manually create contacts (from the Witei Contact Form itself) to let you know if any CRM contact has that phone number regardless of the telephone code.
This would avoid duplicating contacts if we have one with a prefix and the other without but with the same phone, for example.

Avoid duplication of demands due to the prefix

Review of requests after entering Witei as requests, avoiding duplication due to the prefix (+34).
It's unlikely that you'll be contacted by the same phone number with different prefixes.
In addition, it is common for several contact requests to be generated through different portals, when you indicate the telephone number with a prefix, two requests are generated that come to different agents causing double work. As well as the discomfort for the customer, because you receive two calls from the same agency by different agents.

Grupo Galo this is the commented improvement suggestion. Thank you.
witei
We reopened this suggestion, since different witei users have reported cases in which witei has not been able to correctly detect the duplication of a contact, probably due to the presence/absence of an international prefix in their telephone number.
We are still working to add new improvements to this tool to reduce the cases in which witei cannot detect a duplicate or generates a false positive duplicate in the user's contact book.

witei: Hello Alvaro, are there any advances regarding this suggestion?
We currently have the ability to avoid duplicating contacts, but it's happening a lot to us that agents are managing to upload a contact that they want to work with anyway, even though I already have another colleague. For example, they remove the “+34" to trick the system and be able to upload the contact even if another colleague is working on it. This, of course, can cause internal conflicts. Is there any way that Witei can do anything to avoid these duplicates? Is it possible, prospectively, that the system considers it mandatory to add the “+” before the telephone number? Another possible solution, perhaps more affective, is that you can select the country code from a “scroll down” menu with the full list and then enter the remaining number. This way it is better parameterized and the system can recognize duplicates.

Angela thanks for your feedback.
It would be useful for Witei to detect and notify you when creating a contact that the phone number you are trying to add is already in CRM regardless of the prefix, so you can avoid duplicating contacts with the same phone number if you save one with and the other without a prefix.
